Alliance Work Partners (AWP) has provided leadership at the national level since 1977 to improve the employee assistance program industry, while continually upgrading the services we provide to our customers, their employees, and their families. AWP's mission is to provide programs and services that promote optimal levels of individual and organizational effectiveness with a special focus on prevention of, and intervention on alcohol/drug abuse and other personal problems that may affect job performance.
No Conflict of Interest
AWP saves more of your benefit and training dollars by the way we are structured from the ground up, freestanding and specializing in workplace services. AWP is not part of a mental health network business where workplace services are secondary. Nor are we part of a larger whole that makes profits from counseling or treatment insurance claims. We have never collected payment from a client or from insurance. By intent and design we cannot refer clients to another entity or department with whom we have financial ties because we have no such ties. With no inherent conflict-of-interest, AWP counselors and case managers are able to make referral decisions based solely on the best interest of the client. This approach speeds recovery, saves insurance dollars, reduces out-of-pocket expense for participants, and increases employee retention and productivity.
